The San Diego Downtown Residents Group invites you to join our group and "be heard" on the issues affecting you and your neighbors. Nearly 30,000 individuals (and growing daily) reside in downtown San Diego; The DRG is a civic organization representing the interests of residents working toward making San Diego a better place to live, work and visit for generations to come.

Since its inception in 1987, the DRG, a 501(c) non profit, has been involved with community issues in all seven downtown neighborhood districts: Little Italy, Cortez Hill, Columbia /Core (& Core II), Marina, GasLamp Quarter, Horton, and East Village. The DRG provides a critical conduit and resources enabling downtown residents to participate on an "equal footing" on important political and community development issues. We represent the interests of residents, and not any other business or political organization.
